Default Avery & Ott

First off let me say that I really like the Stars. Showed some real character in the playoffs last year. Nobody plays harder than Morrow. With that said, how can a player of his temperment, with a never say die, never back down, give it everything you've got attitude tolerate two peices of human flotsam like Sean Avery and Steve Ott.

These two guys are a complete embarrassment to the game and unfortunately because of who they play for, also to a great franchise like Dallas. These guys can play hockey. We've all seen them do it. However after watching tonight's game on the dish between the Stars and Bruins, I only have one question to Dallas fans..... what purpose do these two serve?

Default Ott being influenced by Avery

I haven't paid a lot of attention to Dallas this year, even though I do like the club I hate Sean Avery just that much. I have been watching the Dallas - Boston game tonight though. I have always like Steve Ott because he is an agitating player but was always willing to answer the bell when players had enough, now though it seems like he plays like Avery. Agitating and then making other take penalties and not dropping the gloves when it's time. I know that agitating has become kind of a skill in the new NHL or at least a bigger role, but is it really a respectable skill. I don't think it leads to anything good for the game if it goes too far. So does anyone agree that it seems like Ott is being influenced too much by the way Avery plays and agitates? Wasn't it better when he agitated and fought?
