Default Flames' ahl affiliate possibly moving to abbotsford, b.c.

According to CKNW 980AM in Vancouver, Abbotsford's (BC) new 7,500 seat facility TRADEX would be the new home of the Quad City Flames, the AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, for the 2009-10 season.

This will be 3 locations in 4 years for the Flames; from Omaha to Quad Cities, and now to Abbotsford. Why is the Flames' affiliate moving around so much? Is it just due to being located in poor hockey markets, or is there another factor?
