Default Shark attack

Can anyone stop the Shark attack?

16-3-1 as of tonight... 10-0-1 at home. How is there not more talk about this team? Absolutely stacked top to bottom, everyone's producing because of they coaching they have... pretty much playing Detroit's system. The only team that might be able to slow them down is the Wings...

The Sharks being a good team is no surprise, and I guess that's why there hasn't been a lot of talk about them. Setoguchi is the only player that is really way above expectations on that roster, I think. If they can stay healthy and consistent, they could go 1st in the West.

The real question for them coming into this year wasn't whether they'd make the playoffs, it's whether they can get it done in the post-season. I think it's realistic to say not at least going 6-7 games into the Western Conference Final would be a disappointment for this team, and the only reason for that is Detroit.

The Sharks are playing great hockey right now. What's so impressive is when you consider the injuries to Cheechoo, Torrey Mitchell, and Nabokov. Most nights, the opposing netminder and third-period pullback are the only things preventing a major blowout.

This team will get stronger as their chemistry improves and they become better familiar with McLellan’s system. As this team piles up the decisive wins, I would be shocked to see them drop consecutive regulation losses this season. It's early yet in the season, but they are showing a dominancy that will be hard for any team to match. Hard to say any other team is playing better. The chemistry is perfect, and this will be a tough team to beat.
