Well Alex was fined $2500 the max fine without suspension for his comments towards ref Stephane Auger who Alex says had him targeted from the beginning of the game Mon night against Nashville

"It was personal . . . It started in warm-up," Burrows said. "Before the anthem, the ref came over and said I made him look bad in Nashville on the [Jerred] Smithson hit [on Dec. 8] and he was going to get me back tonight."

Personally can't wait for Augewr to ref his next game at GM Place if they let him, or he doesn't get ousted first.

Auger is the worst referee in the NHL and really does give the league a bad name. Bettman will want to keep this hush hush and sweep this under the rug to avoid any more public relations damage.
