Washington inked Ovechkin to an incredible 13 year, 124-million dollar contract deal last February. The closest competition is Rick Dipietro 15 years at 65-million. He negotiated the contract without an agent but his mom, Tatiana, who is the President of the Moscow women's basketball team, served as his advisor. This will keep Ovechkin in Washington until he's 35, and not risk losing him in his prime.
